Christopher Park
DD Wilson, a farmer and vet, was friendly with the Ranby family whose child Christopher, had an intellectual disability. Christopher’s mother, Laura was determined he would have the best quality of life possible. Consequently DD Wilson made land available to the IHC.
During the 1960’s they erected buildings to form the IHC facility Christopher Park. This developed as a specialist facility offering 32 bed residential accommodation, respite care, workshops and various support services.
