Development of the village

As at January 2016, the original beneficiaries of the buildings on Lot 1 governed by the WCSSVT, Anglican Action, Kids First Whanau Centre, Family Works Northern and Catholic Family Support Services, have been joined by Youth Horizons/Kia Puawai, and Enliven Waikato Day Programme.

Lot 2 was purchased from the HCC in 2002 by the Waikato Anglican Diocese whose Office is now onsite along with the Hamilton Combined Christian Foodbank. Also on Lot 2 Hillcrest Home, is operated by Child, Youth and Family.

On Lot 3 Abbeyfield opened in 2006. Owned and operated by an international organization providing residential care for the elderly, they have become integrated into the community in many ways.
